The 6-Week Structured Krav Maga Program for Kids

Through these programs, your children will sharpen their senses and learn to trust their instincts and intuition to escape potentially dangerous situations. They will learn techniques used by elite Israeli special forces units (from an actual special forces operator) to identify and avoid threats before they must use other forms of defense, so safety is always practiced before violence is used.

Whether the dangers are from adults/strangers, peers, bullying, fire, home or street hazards, your children will develop increased awareness to be able to identify a problem, and a unique self-confidence which will allow them to take the required action.

Between our real-life methods of self defense, emphasis on discipline and self-awareness, and our fundamental discouragement of unfocused violence and aggression, Krav Maga is a great way to keep your children safe while giving them confidence and integrity that will last into adulthood.

We are limiting registration to 16 children per session so sign up now to avoid disappointment.

From The Ground Up

6-Week Krav Maga Program
for 9-12 Year Olds

Tuesdays & Thursdays at 6:30pm
Program starts Tuesday, May 16th

$250+HST

This program is designed to equip your children with hard self defense skills. Still employing proprietary Kid's Krav Maga teaching methods, we now recognize that children in this age group must be prepared for what lies in the "tween-teen" age bracket as they head into their teenage years.

The theme for this session will be "From The Ground Up," which will start with safely dealing with a number of common scenarios such as falling and getting tripped or taken to the ground (front and back). This particular session will highlight the distinct difference between Krav Maga and sport martial arts like Jiu-Jitsu.

We will dive deeper into scenario-based training with the full groundwork protocol reviewing the proper getting up skills, to establishing an effective defensive position on the ground. The protocol will escalate through a series of fails up to defense against multiple standing attackers, all the while maintaining the priority of getting up onto their feet safely. From here, we will progress to ground grappling scenarios with attackers on the side and on mount.

They will then test these skills with the full headlock protocol, which includes getting taken to the ground while in a headlock and getting put in a headlock while on the ground.
